Indians weren’t on my mind, ever. I never interacted with one even once. I knew India existed. I knew they had temples and shit. I couldn’t give a shit. I thought they were some noble, spiritual people and all that shit.

Late 2019, I got my first real job at a huge corporation.

It turned out our project was going to take over a task that the indians did.

This meant I had to be trained by indians, via Teams.

The unintelligibility of their speech wasn’t a huge problem once you realized that, instead of trying to carefully read and properly pronounce a hard word, they just mumbled through it.

For project-related reasons, we had to learn about Hitler.

The indian proceeded to explain to a group of Poles why “Hitler was a veri veri bad man.”

I’ve had interactions with multiple indians since, and my opinion of them only gets worse every single time.

I deal a fair amount with my colleagues in the India office. It's hit and miss. Usually jeets do an ok job when everything goes by the book, but get confused as soon as one minor detail is different. Then you see they have no ability to think for themselves and must be told what to do because this one field in the report now has a slightly different name but otherwise everything is the same.

Fortunately the software devs there are top notch. I know it sounds weird but for some reason they have managed to hire the cream of the crop when it comes to devs, they cam actually think on their own and troubleshoot individually. Not like the 99% of useless jeet coders.
