you dont need metal door and isolation to gas people like germans did. Their gas chambers were separate buildings and the door led outside. Even with shit isolation if some of the poison gets outside it is no problem at all.

The man who built most of the American gas chambers was actually commissioned to do a report on some of the chambers at Birkenau and other camps. He determined that they weren't gas chambers, and had they been used as such it'd have poisoned the whole camp, as the vents into and out of the chamber were connected to the rest of the building's ventilation.

At Birkenau the "gas chamber" was connected to the rest of the building with ventilation. Gas drafted from one room into the other. "a little bit" of hydrogen cyanide leaking into the office next door IS a problem. Not to mention that the gas reaches an explosive concentration, and the light fixtures in the room weren't sealed.

Also, like Leuchter said, successful gas chamber executions aren't easy. If you want to kill MILLIONS, there's easier ways to do it. Dig a pit and blow them up. Put them into an old mine and collapse the entrance. Read his report.
