And sure, many brands are owned by the holding corp, but it isn't about the money or the end goal of bankrupting Anheuser Busch, it's about sending a message.
We won't see any of these major corps go out of business, because the govt will bail them out every time, but if you can kill a staple brand, a lot of execs will lose their jobs and a decent amount of investors might lose their savings.
So it's worth the effort in the modern paradigm.
