I switched to only working 25 hours a week.
40+ hours a week is soul crushing.
Your mind doesn't have enough time to reset after work. You go home, relax for a few hours, go to bed, repeat and your mind never actually adjusted from the previous work day, so it feels like you're at work constantly. Like your job is your home.
I hate it.
Now I wake up around 10:30, go to work at 11, leave at 4pm, now I have 10.5 hours of free time.
It's the perfect amount of work. My job doesn't feel like my home anymore.
