Probably Normans and Celts. A lot of Celts had ancestry from the Balkans. Also some of them might be from bottlenecked "native" populations in the BA that had elevated even more "native" Stonehenge era ancestry.

You're right but Celts came in well before Rome did (but not all that much before, I think it was something like 800BC). They were coming in from France/Belgium mostly I think. But the Roman armies themselves apparently were up to 70% non-Roman and likely weren't British either. Rome would station troops far away from their homelands to prevent excess desertion and joining local rebellions and stuff. Apparently they were mostly northern French but there were guys from all over the Balkans there as well. So Balkan ancestry there from Romans and from Celts + excess EEF from pre-Beaker Britons and Celts leading to slightly more features like OP's talking about + later bottlenecks + Normans and Flemish people.

The modern Britons with more mediterranean looks 1) probably have very VERY British looking ancestry, 2) got their looks from years of different groups coming into Britain with ties to southern Europe. Celts, Beaker folk with strong trade ties to Iberia, the French brought in by the Normans, Roman soldiers from all over the Roman empire, Huguenots, Flemish people, and the pre Bell Beaker natives of Britain who we know looked a lot more like Sardinians than British people.

There's a better image than this but I can't find it. It shows 3 dominant ancestry streams in Britain: England EMA (Anglos), France LIA (Celts), and the pre-Celtic, post-Stonehenge inhabitants of Britain who were strongly related to Scots and proto-Germanics etc.

What can be confusing is we think of Scots and Irish as being the most Celtic, but genetically they might be the least related to the peoples who brought Celtic languages to Britain. But this is still being worked out and isn't settled. Could be they're the most related and the French Celtic groups that English people especially are related to just brought different flavors of Celtic into England, different Celtic groups into Scotland/Ireland. But right now it looks like the Irish and Scots are the least genetically Celtic.
