Directors, producers ask them to host a show.

If you like your job and get paid why would you refuse the offer. You're not busy, plus it gives you a sense of being in demand.

Good money for very easy work. They probably choose their own hours to a certain degree. Don't have to travel. Don't have to deal with narcissistic directors or producers. Don't have to learn lines and get into character. Very simple work. Good money. They can phone it in. That's another reason actors like to do voice work for animated movies. Simple stuff. Shorts and t-shirt. Less stress.

haven't you noticed all voiceovers are African American now? Ads, documentaries, true crime, sports... you see, sometimes it's unavoidable to show Whites in these types of content, and that's racist, so they compensate with Black voices.
