I don't use a watch, I don't work according to man's clock but rather God's. Though I am going to make a dial that will also work with the moon and install it in my yard. It's quite a bit of work to make one properly. If you look up scottish sundial you'll see dials which can even plot the transit of mercury

This is an anti SHILL thread. Every man should own at least one WATCH. Not a smart watch, an actual cog and wheel wrist timepiece. You don't have to spend thousands to get a good WATCH.

Which do you choose?

I have a number of pocket watches, going back to the mid-1800s up to WWII, I have a 'jitterbug' airplane watch which vibrates at many times the rate of a normal watch to keep better time. But you have to wind it every 8 or 12 hours or whatever.

Pocket watches are inherently more accurate than wrist watches, the greater moving mass on the mainspring and the bigger wheel to balance just makes 'em better.

i would only fork out 200 bucks max for a waltham self winding watch, liked the show dexter and thought he had a nice watch but thats about the max i would spend on a watch. I own some casios the electronic ones for 20bucks you can buy at walmart, but i prefer function over price. Perhaps having the cardinal directions is neat but yeah

Since it's $300, the only function it adds over >>512748184 is temperature. I'd take the cheaper one with temp and humidity meters instead. $40
