China's military know-how is shit, and the Han are not a warrior people. In fact they were conquered a bunch of times. The Han were defeated by the Mongols (Yuan dynasty) and ruled by them for several centuries. Then they were ruled over by a tiny minority called (((Manchus))) (Qing dynasty), and the whole lot of them were utterly defeated by Western powers in the 19th century. The Chinese have not fought a war since they fought Vietnam in the 1970s and didn't fare better than the US.

Things will only be interesting because the Chinks have massive industrial capacity and they are coming out with shiny new tech that could give them a tactical advantage.

I guess, but we did just kind of set up camp in Afghanistan and Iraq for 20 years while they waited for us to leave. We got outlasted and to be quite frank, the real loss there was the fact that it took 20 years and 8 trillion dollars to come to the realization that it was a huge waste of time and money.

The industrial capacity is huge, it's how we won WW2. As to warrior people, I don't know how much longer that will matter, it doesn't take a warrior to operate a drone. The war would effectively come down to who can better protect their manufacturing capabilities from foreign sabotage and drone/missile attacks. How many of the Chinese inhabitants in the U.S. are foreign agents? How much havok could they cause with a couple drones and some explosives?
I think in a heads up war we could probably still win, but a war with China is unlikely to be so cut and dry.
