Of course they do. A small Coast Guard ship was damaged, not the destroyer. If the Chinese destroyer wanted to ram a rinky-dinky filipino boat, it would have done so. At any time that China wanted to, it would destroy the entire filpino sad 'fleet' in a few hrs but it would risk bringing in the US into it which Chian doesnt want.

The seoncdary Chinese Coast Guard boat didnt see or dont think the Chinese destroyer would reach it so fast and collided with the destroyed. Destroyer has a few scratches while the front of the Coast Guard ship was damaged. China will just replace the Coast Guard boat with the other 5895478958943893893839 ships it has.
