Here’s how it breaks down to me:
- based centrists:
Centrist only insofar as they are eclectic from each corner of the political spectrum- for example, a race-realist who see socialism as a reasonable way forward while advocating for strong privacy rights and liberty.
- non-based centrists
Pic rel. too out of touch to care enough about politics (ie comfortable wealthy boomers)
Unironically this is something to strive for in a sense (to insulate yourself), but most boomers are trading their sons/daughter’s future for their 401k.
- Reddit centrist types
Essentially NAFO shills. Those who lap up the propaganda and fee justified because their data is supported by “legitimate sources” (of course it is, numb nuts). Non critical thinkers who for reasons unknown, trust in the establishment.
