NTA, but the simple solution seems like it would be having more accountability systems in the executive branch, and maybe even having mandatory, weekly/monthly fireside chats where the president goes over statistics a la FDR?
The current ruling where any president has total immunity will absolutely lead to corruption, and that should also be revised and blocked.
Hell, maybe requiring the executive branch to run like a shareholders meeting would work? If we could somehow make a system where the president is obligated to follow what they were elected for, in this case it would be say a 5% growth of GDP or an elimination of the deficit by n%, then we would maybe be able to have more transparent and ascertainable goals as a nation.
