Anyone else pissed that these hardly work because they can't figure out how to stop retards from printing dollar bills in 2025? Printer technology is absent in most homes because you can't do shit without yellow ink that dries out in a month if you don't use it. How do we make printers great again?

Got an Epson ET-2850 ecotank that fills with big bottles of ink
No cartridges that dry out
No complaints - connectivity is good
Print quality is good
screen is kind of small but other than that no issues

I just use black and white toner printer. I have no need for color 99% of the time if you want to print off photos you can order them online or just go to Wal-Mart.

No printers are a pain in the ass because they've always been a pain in the ass. Too many models and too many different drivers. The "printing money" thing is interesting. I'm installing some big commercial Konicas in our building and I noticed they have a symbol that means "do not scan/print money" next to the scanner bed.

Use an old laser printer witg refilled/remanufactured printer toner. At current rate, will probably never need another cartridge.

Color lasers using ABS based toners exist and does not dry out
Eco ink tank printers exist so you can keep yellow refilled at all times with cheap ink.

a lot of printer brands no longer include a fax function, aside from Brother printers ... fax is an underestimated tool, it's a dinosaur but occasionally still super-useful
