Immigration is an economic issue. Donald Trump never had one intention to end the problem for you. Or even to meaningfully reduce it.
The whole campaign was empty pandering. He will pander to you about anything so long as it gets him ahead. In his private life, however, he knows full well that immigration is a foundational economic necessity for America. He knows further that his own economic policies, being of right-wing natures, will drive even more need for openborders immigration in to this nation.
And the culture wars? I can promise you, that it is rich republicans who are funding both sides of those. Gender theory? "What is a woman"? "Black lives matter" instead of "All lives matter"? These are ideas that were cooked up in republican thinktanks funded by billionaires, I can promise you that. And they are promoted to drive white male voters into the corrupt-but-welcoming arms of the republican party in order to attain consent for unionbusting, tax cuts on the rich, gutting your medicaid and other social safety nets, and further deregulation and privatization campaigns from the US govt.
Not to mention to distract you from all of the new warring and a host of other important issues.
He is laughing at you behind your back. They all are. And you are falling for it. And it's normal to fall for it. Everyone "Falls for it" at some point in their lives. Everyone. Absolutely everyone. But you do not need to "fall for it" forever. Beginning today you can wake up and say "No. I know what you're doing. I know how you're manipulating me. And I will not be falling for it any longer." And you can start on that road by holding him accountable for his pedophilia and forcing him to release the Epstein files.
