The end of the Ukraine war will collapse the German economy which has become reliant on its defense sector after the Greens massacred the auto industry and manufacturing by shutting down nuclear plants and the US Navy cut the nordstream pipeline. This in turn will weaken the Euro dramatically, degrade eurobonds and diminish the capacity of the overburdened ECB to stimulate the EU economy during the next crisis. European nation states will then be left with no choice but to individually integrate with the US under unfavorable terms (already happening with LNG). This will allow the US to sustain growth, take on even more national debt and delay Chinese-Western trade integration, cementing their global hegemony for decades to come.
Putin effectively served the 21st century to America on a platter in exchange for a few wheat fields burried under rubble.

You can thank your own politicians for keeping the war going for as long as it has. It really seems like every time, we get close to peace, some EU talking head goes and lights the fire again. I know you are not exactly to blame krautbro, because it's practically the same here. No matter what the population wants, the monied interests at the top keep the blood flowing and the cash burning.
