I don't think that's what happened. It's not that Sam was upset because Harland wouldn't let him 'redpill the normies'. I think the issue was that Harland seemed unphased by Sam's comments about the Jews. Sam was expecting the make the boomer uncomfortable but Harland just rolled with it and kept up his normal shtick without getting phased.
But if that was all it was I don't think Sam would have sperged out. I think that there was an underlying contempt that Harland has for Sam. Maybe not a strong one, but you can really tell the difference between how Harland acts with Sam compared to when he is riffing with a comedian that he likes/respects. To he fair maybe Sam is equally as responsible for this tension but regardless we all know what it is like when someone who doesn't like you is trying to push your buttons vs when its a mate doing it.
