The actual base is about 20 miles in from the last point the pubic can go. You would need some type of airborne relay or control system to bounce the signal. Plus I'm sure they have some crazy radar tech already.

Because there are literal miles of absolutely nothing before you get to anything, and any drone would be disabled or shot down long before it got anywhere. Not to mention, anything interesting isn't going to be outside anyway. How dumb are you?

Not enough range or clearance of the surrounding mountains. The perimeter around Area 51 is at least 10 miles (16km). Hobby drones have at 5km range if lucky … only the largest commercial enterprise drones ($10k+] could go 16km, pretty much the edge of their transmission range, they’d have to gain altitude over the mountains too, which also interfere with the signal. Anything of that size would be easily spotted too, never mind the radar.
