1. If souls exist, then ghosts (disembodied spirits) exist. NDEs and Remote viewing prove the existence of both.
2. If the Earth were Gorillions of years old, then there would be Gorillions of ghosts.
3. There are not Gorillions of ghosts. Maybe dead dinosaurs pretended to be Ancient Deities, but the earth is insufficiently haunted. If you had so many ghosts around, surely they would try to do something like: create immortality, falsify history or destroy the Physical universe.
4. Ghosts must get A. recycled, B. relocated, or C. the Earth is not Gorillions of years old.
5. Ghosts don't get recycled because 99% of human beings don't claim that they used to be dead monkeys or dead dinosaurs. "Reincarnation within the same Universe" hardly works because of varying population levels (it works even worse if you prevent cross-species metempsychosis)
6. Ghosts don't get relocated because of the nature of Soul-mist contains them in physical space (the location of the Underworld and the Land of Dreams). You cannot relocate them without relocating chunks of the physical Universe. Furthermore, "Re-incarnation without memory and personality transfer" is basically useless and equivalent to complete annihilation. If they were mere "echoes or copies of the true soul", they would have no reason to ever disappear. Ghosts typically stick around where the person lived (e.g. American Civil War battlefields)
7. The Earth cannot be Gorillions of years old unless Time flows in multiple directions or it has a Franksteined pseudo-Past (the kind you would see written by bad authors). 'Time Slips' (such as in Bold Street, Liverpool) do not prove that Time flows in multiple directions. Rather, they could be proof of memory manipulation in the glymphatic system
