I've seen plenty of people playing it. Makes sense. Tennis courts are usually available but not often used for tennis. Cheaper sport to get into, don't have to keep buying new tennis balls or re-stringing your racket. It's good exercise and a social activity. I've never played, but I get why it's popular. Better than Pokemon Go or consuming goyslop at the theater or the video game console.
