Its the same thing that happens to troops in the US. They get home from deployment and realise normie life sucks huge balls. A lot of them go back for 2nd or 3rd rotations or they pursue PMC careers, hence all the bongs and yanks in Ukraine fighting Russians and even some fighting for Russians against Ukranoids
