>>513423150>Japan wasn't really an ally and in fact made a pact with the USSR. Japan was just an opportunist at the other end of the world that tried to profit while Germany was causing a distraction.Japan's army and navy were practically enemies with each other. In 1937 it was 50/50 whether they'd expand landward in Manchuria/Russia or seaward in the Pacific. As with Germany, they were absolutely fucked from lack of natural resources, especially oil.
They never would have trusted each other, but there truly was one grand commander over the Axis, Japan could have left the US alone for a couple of years and pinned down Russia in the East in 1941. "Hey Japan, do just enough to prevent Stalin transferring his Siberian divisions to the west in autumn 1941. It'll make all the difference in our push to Moscow. We'll take Moscow and offer peace to whatever remains of the communists who will take out Stalin. Oh, and by not bombing Pearl Harbor we won't trigger the Jew puppet United States. Then we'll the Caucasus oil for both of us, and in 1942 we'll crush the British in the middle east and take their oil."
Rommel had two -- fucking TWO -- divisions in Africa. Meanwhile Germany started Barbarossa with ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY in Russia. Middle Eastern oil production was very low in 1941 so it wasn't as easy as rushing in there and solving all your oil problems for the current war in Russia, but it absolutely would have solved their and Japan's oil issues over the next few years. Just don't fucking attack America until you have the oil issue settled.
