You should be growing a food forest.

Food prices are already crazy and as WW3 continues to heat up, products will go missing entirely.

If it lasts as long as the last couple world wars, we can expect it to go on ~5 years, so longer than anyone can reasonably stockpile for ahead of time.

If you want to survive, you will need to be able to supplement your calories. Plant some perennials now and you have a good chance to make it.

I grew a really tasty tricolour sage. Very tender leaves. Would recommend.
