I drove through here once and I swear it was the creepiest experience. Driving through it felt like getting stuck between save points in a video game. Gas stations with one flickering light, empty diners with the “Open” sign still glowing, endless two-lane roads lined with pines that all look copy-pasted. You keep expecting to see another car but it never comes. Whole region feels like a loading screen.
