Uyghur is an ethnic minority within China. They are Chinese citizens. ICE is detaining criminals. Whether they have committed a crime or just refused to leave after their stay has expired, they are not citizens and have non legal status. The China situation is purely based on ethnicity and culture. That is the difference, you're welcome.

ICE arrests and detains illegal aliens to process them for deportation because illegals are a blight on society and their very presence makes life in this country worse for the heritage population in numerous ways.
