Why is it suddenly trendy to travel to Asia? A couple years ago the hot spots for tourists were European countries, now it’s all Asian countries, why? What caused this?

I visited Japan back in 2019 and it was amazing. This was way before it was trendy to visit Japan.

It was safe, the people were polite, crime was unheard of. People didn't lock their bicycles and people would leave their phones on restaurant tables to reserve their spots.

I would like to visit again. I hope it hasn't changed but I read so many stories about Japan accepting immigration that it probably has.

Maybe because the only places worth traveling in Europe are right next to an active war
