Jobs.now, the job board that posts tech jobs advertised by HR departments to test labor market conditions for H1Bs, has now attained unbelievable levels of reach on Twitter.

Their X account only had 5k followers last month and in just a few weeks, they now have over 21k followers. Their posts go viral daily and get shared by prominent republican influencers with millions of followers. The website even boasts about making H1Bs worried and proudly claims to have helped users apply for over 35K H1B jobs.

As a result, HR departments are being flooded with applications for H1B positions they advertise by thousands of Americans, often fake resumes. This has created a big crisis for Indians H1Bs due to a massive unexpected spike in labor market test failures, causing huge visa uncertainties and layoff fears.

These HR departments need to be criminally investigated as well. I remember a jeet turning up at a previous job. He was useless, obviously. But the role he took was one that myself, and a few others, should have been invited to apply for. I wouldn't have applied personally, thought it was a bit above my level, but it was weird that I didn't even know it was advertised. I've no idea how he got the job, suspect it wasn't even advertised in Australia.
Looking back, it wasn't actually above my level. I would have learned it quicker than he did, and it was fairly obvious he lied on his resume. Nice guy, never had a problem with him, but Indian.
