Serious question. I imagine the Internet has just made it impossible for them to get away with anything. I do think they love the ideas of bots, and more so the dead Internet theory becoming reality(if not already). Do you faggots think the elite want the internet dead and gone? That is all.

famously the elites have not been involved in any shady behind-the-scenes shit since the internet came along. Thank god we got rid of that.

It came too late. We needed it back in the 30s when Americans would have been way more likely to lynch dangerous jews like FDR, and could have prevented WW2

The fact is though that the West got bamboozled by the elites into destroying themselves right before the internet was introduced. After going mainstream A LOT of people have already become aware of a lot of shit that they otherwise would not be aware of without it. The number is only growing.

I imagine at the start of the internet they adored the fact they could have a monopoly on information and major news media sites aswell as wikipedia. Slowly more and more censorship had to be used for the cattle not to notice until their grip became decentralized by sites like X. Now the internet is their worst enemy. Censorship means admiting defeat, and so does free speech because everyone hates (((them))) now and arent afraid of saying it out loud.
The internet is a golem that turned on its masters.

The next class of parasites at the top will thrive in a world of distrust, discontent and populism. I guess it won't be the likoud-backed kosher right though, those are increasingly fucked by the noticing.

I think the only people who were rattled were MSM. But it looks like they've somehow adapted. A lot of them lost tons of money and power though. Certainly their prestige took a hit when they were found to just be copying eachother.
One thing that plays into the elite's favour is that the internet is a cacophony of nonsense conspiracy theories and reaction vidoes
