>boomers
>richest demographic that ever walked the earth
>grew up and reached adulthood during the largest economic boom the world has ever seen
>could afford college tuition just through working a summer job
>could afford rent for basic housing even on minimum wage when they were just getting started in life
>minimum wage in 1965 was equivalent to $26 an hour today after inflation
>got their foot in the door with entry level positions and worked their way up into high paying jobs without even trying
>their jobs provided health insurance, pensions, and 401ks
>majority of government budget goes to giving them a monthly pension through social security in addition to free healthcare through medicare. literally the largest expense the US government has
>90% of the government social welfare spending goes toward boomers
>bought homes back when housing was extremely affordable for the average person and aren't burdened with having to pay rent or a mortgage
Imagine growing up with a silver spoon and then government just throwing free shit at you. Literally every boomer I know, even the less successful ones are multi millionaires drawing government checks every month.

I have a relative drawing money from three pensions, social security, 401k, and a work pension. He makes more money with his pensions than I do working full time, and has the government paying all his medical bills. He never even finished high school, and spent years in prison when he was a young adult for robbing a bank. Imagine a zoomer high school dropout going to prison their prospects for the future. At this point, when you have fuck ups like this becoming multi millionaires it's not a situation where they earned their wealth off their own merit. They had it so easy.
