When they changed the retirement from High-3 50% at 20 to whatever the fuck it is now, basically forcing soldiers to put their money into Mutual Funds / Thrift Savings Plan, it started gutting leadership and continuity in the U.S. Military. 20 years at 50% base pay was a good thing, and that nigger took it away from us. What kind of Officer or Senior NCO wants to do 20 years of body-abusing activity only to get denied Disability and a good future? Nobody wants to stay in. They just see it as a stepping stone. Do your 4 years and get out. Get the GI bill to pay for college - maybe - and get another entry level position with your bachelor's degree. Slave state.
