Now that the dust has settled, was BREXIT a success?

Brexit was right in theory but the British elites decided to punish the population for it to an outright evil degree.
>They.... le voted for it
No they didn't. They got punished for voting for something else

No, it was probably inevitable sooner or later but the timing and manner in which we left was awful. I sympathise with those who voted for it but pragmatically speaking it was obviously going to be a disaster

Have Brits discovered that they don't need the EU to have shitty regulations?

was brilliant and necessary, a key part of the timeline shift that elected Trump etc
brit governments sabotaged it by escalating millions of migrant arrivals, and other bad govt measures generally

Yeah, it's just a trading bloc that also makes you follow their shitty social rules. We now have lower tariffs with the USA than the EU does, plus we can buy Japanese, Korea or Chinese cars instead of VW slop. The EU has no high-technology firms, they're all in America or Asia so the future of the EU is bleak af.

Unfortunately our leaders hate us and increased immigration to max power. The EU however, is on the same path.

Brexit itself was a good idea. The outcomes weren't - politicians both inside and outside the UK made it their life's goal to punish the Brits for voting the wrong option
