Its somewhat obvious. The West won't ever back down from its autism. Zelensky can't back down because he would be killed. Russia can't back down because in needs the advantage for the the next time the West tries to fuck with it.

No matter how low Western military stockpiles get and the number Ukrainians get their hubris will still push them to either demand a treaty on their terms or fight it out. What does it matter the West is deindustrialized? The GDP is high! Russia will be defeated militarily with food handlers, bankers, lawyers and an ambitious and aggressive rearming policy that will see minimum peace time levels restored by 2050.

Restore industry? Nah, that's environmentally unsound! Give people something to fight for? We already give them so many new neighbours every day, I'm sure at least someone will want to fight! Any way if worse comes to worse and we can't beat Russia then we can make sure this is the end of everything!

NATO has no answers to FPV drones or any of the new systems currently active in Ukraine. Most spare parts and ammo already went Ukraine. All the new stuff will only arrive 2030s(New patriots new artillery systems Ammo etc) Operation Spiderweb shows that with a truck full of drones you can ground an entire airbase if youre lucky. Without airpower Europe is basically neutered.

I don't think there will be peace. Because, ultimately, it's not about Ukraine. No one really cares about the backwater known as Ukraine. Ukraine is, as Trump would call it, a "shithole country". Ukraine is just a point of leverage; all sides will keep offering mutually unacceptable terms on the Ukraine issue until the real issue has been solved. That real issue is China and BRICS. Trump wants Russia to switch sides and become China's Ukraine. And I don't think Putin will fall for that.

I don't believe those numbers are accurate but at least a roughly correct estimation of the distribution of wealth in Ukraine. Picrel is another map, without numbers, but it too shows that the most precious deposits are all in Eastern Ukraine. Exploiting them is the most profitable or even only economically meaningful where the concentration is the highest, these are the preferred locations for investors and for the Trump admin.
