I think by getting rid of the trinity and son aspects of Christianity (which honestly I think make no sense unless you're born into it) it makes a much more coherent and simple theology, which is more or less what Islam is.

Factually, I think Islam does a pretty good job, and the stuff about Mohammed's miracles are all Hadith, and take-it-or-leave-it.

Islam's claim that other religions adapted and changed their source material over time to suit their needs is absolutely true (though of course the same thing is happening to Islam now too).

And I would say that yeah the stuff about women having less worth (which is absolutely in the OT too) is based if that's what you think, and still fine if you don't (see: Islamic Feminism)
