A major risk of dating or marrying a woman who used a dating app to find you is that they often do not stop. It's a habit. It's what she's done on her phone for some time before meeting you. Even after you are together what does her phone addicted self do?

And on a long enough time line she will eventually tell you she's going " to the store " when she's really going on a little date with some chad that hit her up.
Which is why all those street videos where guys ambush couples and offer to use AI to find out of either of them are on active on dating apps always ends in disaster.

When you're going out and meeting people it's not all or nothing, unless you're a turbo sperg that completely blows his chances. Like there have been times when it was early in the night and I was getting a drink and the woman I talk to isn't sure and in that case I just shrug it off and go back. Later in the night, as more of my friends arrive or I get talking with other people (especially other women) that same woman who wasn't sure can change her mind and I can just say "you again!" with a smile when going up for my next drink and she smiles back and she's happy to talk to me.

With dating apps the women only see you for like 5-10 seconds before they just flick and so it's all about creating those "first impressions". Not just that you look handsome, but that you convey high social status in those seconds is another thing that will put you in that top % of right swipes.

But that just inevitably leads to two things: a large swathe of women all fighting over these top men, exchanging STIs with each other (and never getting the "long term realtionship" they want). Women also falling for men who learn the "game" of apps like this, who will do a Tate and get a fitted suit (to get a nice looking one is just hundreds), pose near a luxury hotel in a rented sports car and so on and convey the impression they're richer and more important than they are. Even the mid tier guy will learn that you can get more matches just by crafting photos to create a certain impression about yourself (that you are more outgoing or social than you actually are).

This inevtiably leads the women (being dumb creatures that they are) to get tricked and to think they're seeing a particular person that they're really not. At best it's an exaggeration and at worst it's a total fraud.

Did they control for previous number of partners irrespective of method of meeting? Becuase failing to filter for a variable which is know prior to result in higher rates of relationship failure and decreased realtionship satisfaction isba pretty shit study.
