I was once a profoundly edgy atheist and I'd argue with anyone about the non-existence of god. I thought that Christianity and all the other religions were the cause of great evil.

The place had a Christian-based theme so there was a lot of people of the faith around me every day and in my life. I learned a lot about God from talking with those old timers. I witnessed the end of the Greatest Generation and that was sad, but it was rewarding to find my spirituality in this particular environment that's filled with so much love, happiness, pain, fear, sadness, and death... all at the same time.
