Land Value Tax
It's a better form of taxation, that bases it's cost on the value of the land that you own. Too many business owners buy land early on then once the surrounding land gets developed by tax payer dollars eg. busses, trains, parks, etc... the land they purchased years ago raised in value, but the price of their property taxes didn't. Giving them tons of money due to their location now benefiting from taxpayer systems, without actually paying for them.

The long story short, is homes property taxes would go down, but inner city apartment buildings and office buildings would pay more.

Land value tax is the only fair tax. And the only way to end slavery. Its an objective fact that those who own land are the masters, and those without are the slaves. So unless you support slavery, you should support a fair sharing of the value of a countries land, implemented via land value tax and citizens dividend.
