The Holocaust sounds like some bullshit to me. You mean to tell me that the Nazis gassed 6 million Jews in gas chambers with wooden doors?

Then on top of that, they turned them into soap and their skin into lighting fixtures? This sounds retarded. But wait, it gets even worse because they also said that Nazi scientists strapped Jews onto masturbation machines and masturbated them to death. It's also illegal in many parts of the world to question any of this.

I mean what evidence do we have that this even happened? Testimonies from survivors of the so called holocaust cannot be counted as solid evidence. They can easily just lie about what happened and make any outrageous claim they want.

This happens all the time during war times. War propaganda is rife. Both sides of a war have to make out that their enemy is the most evil, despicable human beings out there. How else would they convince random civilians to go to some killing field and slaughter other random civilians? They have to get you to hate the enemy somehow. Even if it means lying about how bad they are.

How is the holocaust not just dismissed as another crazy, untrue piece of war propaganda, similar to the absurd claims by North Korea that U.S soldiers ate Korean babies during the Korean war? We can recognise that as a stupid absurd lie. But somehow, Jews being masturbated to death is an unquestionable fact we all have to believe.

There's a lot we can learn from it. Propaganda wise.

Convincing other Europeans to fight Nazis is not hard because the Nazis were powerful and dangerous and were decisively beating their neighbors. Americans only got involved because Hitler formally declared war on the US as part of his treaty with Japan, if I'm not mistaken.

As we get further away from WW2, it becomes easier to just handwave the whole thing because the people who did live through it are mostly dead now. I met many Holocaust survivors in my life. You can say "I don't trust them" but these are people whose siblings and parents were killed, they themselves only surviving either because they were lucky and smuggled out of the country or managed to get put in the camp late enough into the war to actually be saved. Not all of the people they did this to were Jews, either. It's a disservice to the other 5 million people who were also killed by the Nazis as part of their extermination plans.

In under two weeks, it is said the Mongolians wiped out over 1 million people in the city of Nishapur. If the Mongolians were capable of doing this in the 1200s, I find it pretty easy to believe that 6 years was enough time to kill that many Jews and others. When you learn more about how easy it is to actually kill large populations of humans, it becomes a lot easier to accept the death toll.
