>>513602341 (OP) You ideally will have grandkids or a dog or something to pass the time with I knew this rich as hell old timer who never got married or had kids, but spent a lot of his time retired with his dog and fixing up and driving his awesome ass cars
>>513602341 (OP) >Is retirement rewarding NO! The reward is the friends you made along the way. I see old farts retire with zero friends or family.

>>513602407 you're a retard use your prime earning years to get stocks and a house. all you fucking need is enough to withdraw 3%/year on in perpetuity. markets grow at 8% and inflation is only a couple percent, leaving you with profit. you can retire on any amount of income your problem is your degenerate, expensive, retard nigger lifestyle, not your income
>>513602341 (OP) I retired about 12 years ago. To me it sort of sucked. I have a family and all but they have their own things going on. You can't spend 24/7 with them. I also have a wood shop, a boat, instruments I play, and tons of fishing shit, but it's not the same. I lasted about two years before I opened another business. It gives me something to have to do. Idk, I'm kind of a workaholic.
