Brazil just passed censorship laws like in the UK to "protect children". Government will now require online platforms to verify the age of its Brazilian users. That could mean sending documents, selfies, etc. It also gives other powers to the government over online platforms.

Soon we'll all need a "Digital ID" to even access the internet at which point sites like 4chan will cease to exist altogether

No, at which point we all collectively move to altnets such as i2p and tor. Get accustomed to using those from now.

technically you already do.
Need ID to sign up to ISP or Phone carrier
But ID just to access a website will is probably 'what they want', but I doubt they'll achieve.
Theyre going after any place where protests can be organised (i.e social media), especialy by anonymous users

Countries without clear, unified, and easily accessible constitutions are, by their very nature, undemocratic.

The United Kingdom, for example, does not have a unified constitution. Instead, it has laws that form a structure similar to a constitution, but these laws are difficult to enforce without a lawyer or legal experience. This makes it difficult to understand people's rights, which makes it easier for the state to take away their rights.

>government is free to decide how platforms will verify people's age
>online platforms will be required to have a representative in Brazil
>government can use this law for targeting certain platforms or people

Those 2 things alone will make a bunch of websites/apps unavailable

Myself and many others will refuse to send documents and IDs for privacy reasons, which means further restrictions on what we can visit

Constitutions are worthless if judges and the government interpret it however they want
