The difference is like night and day. Nobody here is checking if you cut your grass on time, if you pay your tv licence on time, who is coming and going from your address, if you drop litter on the floor, etc. There's no surveillance and obsession over micromanaging every aspect of your life from the community.

For example i went to the shop and finished my can of San Pellegrino before i went in and there was no bin so i placed it on the pavement next to the tree. A Pakistani inbred saw me put it on the floor and didn't say one word. If i had done this in a white area someone would have said "hey mate, pick it up please, you're meant to recycle that, pal"

See the difference? I can literally walk out of my house to the shop in my pyjamas and nobody will stare or see it as unusual at all. The Africans and Afghans don't even look in your direction, just focused on their own business.

Conservative strongholds wear you down mentally trying to keep up with doing everything properly. In the foreign areas everyone just focuses on their own lives and doesn't disturb you.

Yeah most of the whites roaming around are from the HMO's and even they are just roaming about getting on with their own business in among the hordes of foreigners. If a guy in the more upmarket conservative area is saying "excuse me pal, i think you've got a couple of baked beans cans in your rubbish, those are meant to go in the recycling" then what does this have to do with the government enforcing rules? There is absolutely no way a Somali or an inbred Pakistani on my street is going to go through my rubbish or check if the rubbish is spilling out of the wheelie bin, if the lid is closed etc. This is stuff done exclusively in white majority areas. Here the guy next door is dumping his excess bins in the street pile along with mine and he's too busy talking in another language to someone back in India to check whether i've put my spaghetti packets in the recycling. If a tv licence guy shows up at the door here not a single neighbour will be able to understand what he's saying if he asks for me. It's little things like that which are claustrophobic in the more whiter areas.
