how can you accept yang as your leader when he destroyed the nation? he was awakened in space warfare because of his detachment to nationalism. to someone with clear political understanding despite yangs military leadership he let the nation demise. altho this is a basic moral lesson about 1848, yang becomes virtuous by saving lives through minimizing casualties on both sides, and that there is a reasonable argument to be made against the color revolutions.
the strength in the series is the first 3/4th of it. the last 1/4th has too many plot holes despite some great moments. it fails to develop any depth of the government structures and with a small poof vs the bangs the arcs had. I adored the series for the art, the political intrigue was almost worse than star trek.
