The cost of living has also risen, there's studio apartments going for 1k a month. Lot's of pretentious lefty's who keep coming in from California and other places up north. Weed is legal. Wealth disparity is pretty apparent, the rich live in the hills, the poors live in the inner city, though some rich people also live in the inner city, just in isolated areas, it's not uncommon for one neighborhood to be for poors and the next neighborhood over is nothing but rich people. Barely any niggers which is great. Downtown is an overpriced hell hole. Vail is a white enclave. Surprisingly diverse music scene, jazz, punk, hardcore, indie rock/pop, metal, hip-hop, etc. U of A means there's a lot of hot college sluts from different cities hanging out at the bars around the city, mostly downtown. Monsoon season ensures mini hurricanes, we had a mini tornado last year. Mt. Lemmon, Sabino Canyon, Agua Caliente Park, etc. are good places to hike, though lots of javelins, coyotes, and mountain lions, though those are a lot more rare.
