In regards to entertainment tech, video games will more or less remain unchanged so long as they are experienced through their current paradigm. Video games which are all played via a screen as a medium, reached their technological peak 2 decades ago.

For any noteworthy change, there needs to be a new paradigm. Virtual reality is clearly the next one but any sci-fi level capabilities of it are still at least 20 years away.
