I am tired of the niggardly appraisals of societal issues this so called ‘scholar’ keeps putting forward.
The welfare state is absolutely essential in restoring the quality of life of the BIPOC community.
Without deliberate state intervention, the deep-rooted racial inequity cannot be reversed by markets alone.
Also, BIPOC workers are overrepresented in underpaid sectors (e.g., home care, food service) and are deliberately excluded from higher paying jobs. Wage supplements and public benefits play a crucial role in making work livable.

The only solution, if you consider it a problem at all, is to separate different groups into different societies. Before the Civil War, repatriating blacks to Africa was a popular idea, and a great deal of progress was achieved, but the aftermath of the war dashed any hope of completing the project. A degree of separate societies persisted in the form of segregation, and while far from perfect, the system was stable, until the government literally forced people to dismantle it at gunpoint. It is no coincidence that around that time, crime rates exploded and the quality of education began to diminish.
