Why does plains libertarianism in America feel so different than PNW & Western Idaho libertarianism? The first sort have the vibe of a family guy who's clean cut and wants his family to accrue assets. Wants to be left alone with his repair shop and coal grill. But the second type have a sinister vibe. As if they can't wait to showcase their dark triad beyblade against anyone not like them. They come across as deeply anti-humanistic, to the point of willingly creating their own parallel morality and believing in it. Like they climbed out of a Cormac McCarthy book to find victims.
