- They took over all the profits made from spice trade, which was the reason they came to India.
- They forced farmers to grow cash crops and took all the profits made.
- They mined all the productive mines and took all the profits.
- They taxed the local population and Kingdoms under their allegiation heavily and the only infrastructure they provided was for moving goods out of India for efficient transfer of wealth and for their own living.
They ignored infrastructure maintenance for the local people. There are letters from some concerned British officers about the neglect. They provided zero infrastructure for the benefit of local population where it did not benefit the company.
- East India company became so rich that it was the largest investor in North America in the infrastructure. It also financed the slave trade with all this money. Most Britons could serve in India and make generational wealth. India also financed a lot of the world wars. They looted till there was not much blood to suck out. Then they left. Without Indian sub continent as a colony, Britain is slowly collapsing. Beyond London, the rest of the country is entering pathetic economic conditions, with few good paying jobs and depressed economy.
