Who are you trying to protect?
We should legalize everything and let the abusers filter themselves out. I'm on my second cup of coffee today and I'm cutting myself off so I can get to sleep on time and go slave away for Mr. Shekelbaum.
My drug intake is very low, but life would be more tolerable if I could just snort a rail of over-the-counter heroin and cruise through the work week. I imagine there would be a lot of car wrecks and people earing their hands off during the first few years of fully legal drugs, but eventually people would burn out and kids would get to see all of the shitty adults they DON'T want to be.

Now, if there was only some way to legalize refusing circumcision and killing any weasel who tried to push it on me or my children...

Porn, no. Just avoid it if it causes you problems and encourage parents to take responsibility. It's not a governmental issue. Drugs that causes serious physical/mental harm and sometimes death should be cracked down upon by the state and the rest of society. It's one of the few times it's justified.
