At first it may seem brave that this entire generation is saying no to alcohol. The thing is zoomers don't even go out or socialize. If you go to a bar or a club, it's always people in their 30s. Zoomers stay at home and do nothing all day, including weekends. What the fuck is wrong with them?

I wonder who Gen Z doesn't drink alcohol. Hmmmmm. I wonder why a generation that is majority under 21 drinks less alcohol than other generations according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. Hmm that's a tough one.. maybe they're just lazy??

I can smoke pot and still be mostly functional but turn into a drooling retard after a few drinks. And on party nights waking up groggy the next day is better than waking up with my head splitting in two. That said I still keep a case of beer in the fridge for shitty work days.

I honestly have no idea. My brother is a zoomer and I’ve noticed he never goes out with his friends. The only time he does is if I make him come with me and mine. If I do get him and his friends to come out, they just hang out mostly quietly. They don’t talk to girls. They don’t dress nicely. They just sit and have a beer or two quietly and then go home.

This is definitely a big reason, but I work with zoomers, and they tell me they don't drink because they saw what it did to their parents and other relatives, and they just don't see a point to drinking other than wanting to destroy your liver. Plus they don't go out to clubs and bars like Gen X and Millennials did, so there's really no incentive to be drunk anymore since social settings are dying out. I say good for them. A glass of whiskey here and there never hurt anyone but no big deal if liquor goes away entirely imo.

The other side of the coin is these motherfuckers are getting high as fuck at a rate far beyond what my generation did. They essentially just traded one vice for another, but at least weed is more of a relaxer than alcohol.

The only time I've been to a club, was because:

1) Got invited by a girl in uni

4) Stagdo
5) Drunk with girlfriend

They never "got the taste for alcohol" in the US. Our kids don't drink beer or wine casually with dinner, generally speaking, and there was a bit of a rite of passage for "your first drink." Zoomers never bothered because they found weed first.
Alpha will be worse about it and we're probably going to re-reschedule cannabis in 15 years when it becomes a national crisis

It's really weird to see how many of my peers are just incapable of living regular lives. And it's not caused economic factors or anything quite so complex, it's just that they can't function. They can't hold a conversation, they can't talk like adults, they are allways on the brink of panic, lost, confused, like they just can't handle the world.
I have no idea why, I'm neither particularly smart, nor was i rised particularly well, same goes for my wife, as much as i love her, she is just a regular girl. Maybe a bit autistic... And we manage just fine.
But so many of the people we knew growing up or met at uni or made friends with through hobbies... so many of them are no different to how they were in highschool. It's OK to be lost and shy and socially anxcious when you are 15, but not at 25 or 30.
I mostly blame the internet.

It's a fun activity with friends. Through high school and university I went out almost every weekend and got laid only once with some random drunk girl. Yeah, wasn't very good at dealing girls, but it wasn't really the point. Journey > destination.

Ever since the covid hoax I stopped interacting with the goyim cattle. I just look through them and pretend they don't exist. I don't even greet them or acknowledge their presence. I'm not staring either, I'm just looking straight through them as if they weren't there. I also don't go out anymore except for essentials.
