And it's not caused economic factors or anything quite so complex, it's just that they can't function. They can't hold a conversation, they can't talk like adults, they are allways on the brink of panic, lost, confused, like they just can't handle the world.
I have no idea why, I'm neither particularly smart, nor was i rised particularly well, same goes for my wife, as much as i love her, she is just a regular girl. Maybe a bit autistic... And we manage just fine.
But so many of the people we knew growing up or met at uni or made friends with through hobbies... so many of them are no different to how they were in highschool. It's OK to be lost and shy and socially anxcious when you are 15, but not at 25 or 30.
I mostly blame the internet.
