the constitution is basically dead, supreme court gave the president essentially unlimited powers as long as they're "official acts", national court injunctions were blocked unless you sue via class action or some retarded shit, no republican will ever vote to impeach so that's a dead end as well.

It's a campaign stunt for midterms.
He will send troops out to large cities that typically vote Democrat.
Everyone there will briefly hold their breath.
He takes that pause and pretends to have brought down crime in the city.
People are too stupid to recognize the statistical insignificance of a brief pause.
His goal is that this will flip a blue state to red, allowing him to keep congress, and potentially gerrymander the state to red for the future.
It doesn't even have to work everywhere, because it costs him nothing personally to spend your tax money all over the map just trolling for one or two places that actually stick.
