Indians of /pol/, it's totally understandable that you want peoples approval. I get it, I really do.
The easiest way to do that is to address the negative stereotypes. If you're a Desi guy but you speak with the local accent/vernacular, are freshly showered every morning, keep your environment clean and do your work properly, people will 99.99% of the time treat you like anyone else.
Your generation would earn so much respect internationally if you fixed your country's public defecation problem. It doesn't even have to be the same way everyone else does it. Maybe for you it would make more sense to build public facilities that feed biogas digesters, so you can fund the maintenance through selling the biogas. Your aunt would probably be healthier if her food wasn't always cooked on burning cow dung.
All the criticisms you get are about actively improving your quality of life.
