He needs a tequila sunrise extra tequila and a plate of tendies as an appitizer it's what warms him up to the next meal and takes a bit of the stress off so he can unwind as he decompartmentalizes the day with you. Next time bring the tendies first and have the steak cooking on low to get the smell in the air and it'll trick his brain to crave that steak. Was it rare or medium rare ? Anything else is hockey puck and you should be chastised properly. 2 hits and silence in the room for a few hours.
