Should energy drinks be banned?
Or at least their sale restricted to adults only (like alcohol)?

yea definitely. this shit is killing me. im addicted to them. i feel the negative effects. eventually they get so bad that i end my 3 week or so binge for another 3 weeks and feel better. people be like "its just vitamins tho"... no. that much is apparent. lab created "vitamins" are often not chemically identical the real ones, just look it up. how can their addictiveness be explained? it isnt the caffeine. if caffeine was addictive why do i hate coffee and tea etc?

Instead of bottles wodka every day I drink around 6 energy every day and it works for me.

Those vitamins mostly B are just show and are pissed right out. They don't really dock with your body.
And it absolutely is the caffeine. Tea and coffee is not for everyone and the addiction is not so hard like actual drugs that you NEED another hit no matter what.
If you stop it's usually harder to get sleep and headaches for a few days that's it.
The real bad part is the ridiculous amount of sugar in them for Americans guaranteed korn syrup slop. The sugar free versions are better but those sugar alternatives are probably not super healthy longterm either.

If you drink it every day the tolerance to caffeine will be so high that it doesn't affect your heart anymore.
Just drink sugar free versions and you're fine.

I've been addicted to Xanax and caffeine. I managed to drop Xanax, I can't kick the caffeine, been trying for years. The withdrawals are awful and tapering off over 100 days is more involved than you think in practice. It's grim. Makes me wonder what would happen if the world declined to export coffee to the west for 6 months. We'd agree to anything.

Studies are not clear on it but visual problems will not be forever if you have some just stop drinking and it will go away.

People are build different so everyone feels addiction in different ways and some don't can't even get addicted to anything at all.
For energy it's socially accepted to drink it at all times and everywhere so that's harder to cut off. Maybe try decaffeinated energys to trick your brain that you still drink your beloved energy but without the caffeine part.

I've seen some wild takes but claiming it's easier to quit Xanax than caffeine is lmao tier. Do you get akathisia from withdrawals? Doubt it, stop being a pussy and taper properly.
